A simple and iconic breakfast dish where eggs are fried in a pan until the whites are set while keeping the yolks runny (sunny side up), or flipped for over-easy, medium, or hard variations. Commonly served with toast, bacon, or sausage, fried eggs are a staple of the American breakfast table.
