500g Ground Beef
1 small Onion (chopped)
1 Green Bell Pepper (chopped, optional)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 cup Tomato Sauce (or Ketchup)
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Mustard (yellow or Dijon)
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 Hamburger Buns
03 Method
Step 1
Heat Olive Oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add Onion, Bell Pepper, and Garlic. Cook until softened.
Step 2
Add Ground Beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Step 3
Stir in Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Brown Sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, and Mustard.
Step 4
Season with Salt and Black Pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
Step 5
Lightly toast Hamburger Buns.
Step 6
Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns.
Step 7
Serve hot and enjoy the messy, saucy goodness.
