02 Ingredients
2 Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless, about 2.5 cm thick)
2 tbsp Olive Oil or Butter
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
1 tsp Paprika (optional)
For Applesauce (optional classic side)
2 Apples (peeled, cored, diced)
½ cup Water
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
½ tsp Cinnamon (optional)
03 Method
Step 1
Pat Pork Chops dry and season with Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Paprika.
Step 2
Heat Olive Oil or Butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Sear Pork Chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 63°C / 145°F). Remove and rest for 5 minutes.
Step 4 (Optional Applesauce)
In a small saucepan, combine Apples, Water, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until soft. Mash or blend into a sauce.
Step 5
Serve Pork Chops hot with Applesauce and your choice of vegetables or mashed potatoes.
