02 Ingredients
4 Eggs
2 tbsp Milk (optional, for fluffiness)
2 tbsp Butter
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
Filling Options
½ cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Swiss)
¼ cup Ham (diced)
¼ cup Mushrooms (sliced)
1 cup Spinach (fresh)
Optional Onions, Peppers, or Tomatoes
03 Method
Step 1
Crack Eggs into a bowl, add Milk (if using), Salt, and Black Pepper. Beat until well combined.
Step 2
Heat Butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until melted.
Step 3
Pour in the Egg mixture and tilt the pan to spread evenly. Cook without stirring for 1–2 minutes until the edges start to set.
Step 4
Add Cheese, Ham, Mushrooms, Spinach, or other fillings on one side of the omelet.
Step 5
Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the eggs are just set and the cheese begins to melt.
Step 6
Fold the omelet in half over the fillings.
Step 7
Slide onto a plate, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve hot.
