500g Ground Beef (or beef chunks)
1 Onion (chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 Bell Pepper (chopped)
1 can (400g) Diced Tomatoes
1 can (400g) Kidney Beans (drained, optional for Texas-style you may skip beans)
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 cups Beef Broth
2 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Paprika
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Optional Toppings
Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream
Chopped Green Onions
Tortilla Chips
03 Method
Step 1
Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add Onion, Garlic, and Bell Pepper. Sauté until softened.

Add Ground Beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.

Stir in Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika, Cayenne, Salt, and Black Pepper. Cook for 1 minute to release flavors.
Step 4
Add Tomato Paste, Diced Tomatoes, Beans (if using), and Beef Broth. Stir well.
Step 5
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45–60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and flavorful.
Step 6
Taste and adjust seasoning.
