  • 500g Ground Beef (or beef chunks)

  • 1 Onion (chopped)

  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1 Bell Pepper (chopped)

  • 1 can (400g) Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 can (400g) Kidney Beans (drained, optional for Texas-style you may skip beans)

  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste

  • 2 cups Beef Broth

  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder

  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional, for extra heat)

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Black Pepper (to taste)

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

    Optional Toppings

  • Shredded Cheese

  • Sour Cream

  • Chopped Green Onions

  • Tortilla Chips


03 Method

Step 1
Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add Onion, Garlic, and Bell Pepper. Sauté until softened.

Add Ground Beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.

Stir in Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika, Cayenne, Salt, and Black Pepper. Cook for 1 minute to release flavors.

Add Tomato Paste, Diced Tomatoes, Beans (if using), and Beef Broth. Stir well.

Step 5
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45–60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and flavorful.

Taste and adjust seasoning.
